Wilory Farm is located on 12 acres in the heart of the Texas Hill Country right near the quaint old historic town of Martindale. A variety of workshops take place here on songwriting, recording, music business, creative writing, and music instruction. We host workshops on wellness, arts, crafts, yoga, and Tai Chi!
Workshop attendees can expect a unique experience. Folks travel from all over to come to our workshops and they often sell out months in advance. There are several places to stay in the area, so make a weekend of it! Relax and escape in the county. Take a nature walk. Pet our mini zoo. Sing louder than our donkeys! Fill your belly with some great snacks!
Leave inspired!

LAS is the longest running workshop in Texas, held annually in Port Aransas. Both of these workshops are suited for ages 18 and up. Beginning to advanced. It's a chilled out vibe. Real good folks come to this year after year. We're a bunch of friends who all love music. We learn a whole lot (and laugh a whole lot) during our weekend.
Terri Hendrix and Lloyd Maines often teach workshops in conjunction with performances at arts centers, schools, universities, and private events. Please contact us if you're interested!
About the Instructors:
Terri Hendrix has run an independent record label since 1996, releasing all of her music through her own e-commerce store at her website. Her music's been used in independent films, commercials, and various other formats.
She’s also conducted workshops alongside producer and Austin City Limits Hall of Fame inductee Lloyd Maines, for the past sixteen years. Together they offer an all inclusive creative experience for everyone from the novice to the actively performing musician. An attendee can expect the brass tacks of releasing independent music in the digital age to be discussed as well as production, performance, and songwriting. Several handouts that delve into alternate tunings and rhyme schemes will also be made available to all attendees. Time is equally divided between the “The Part That Ain’t Art” (music business) and “The Part That’s Art” (creative approaches to all things songcraft and production). It’s a Q&A format in which both Hendrix and Maines engage each and every student. They encourage those that attend to bring their instruments and or their notepads and partake in what’s proven time and again to be an inspiring event for all involved.
Lloyd Maines is a Grammy Award Winning Texas based producer, session player, musician, and Austin City Limits Hall of Fame member. for more information on Lloyd, please see HERE.
